Steamed black bean spare ribs

4 servings:

  • 500g pork spare ribs
  • 2 Tbsp Lee Kum Kee Black Bean Garlic Sauce
  • 1.5 Tbsp Chinese cooking wine
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 medium garlic cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Step 1

Mince garlic. Cut spare ribs into 1.5-inch pieces.


Step 2

Mix all the ingredients together, including the spare ribs. Toss well to coat the ribs evenly.


Step 3

Steam on medium-high heat for at least 35 minutes.


Step 4

Serve on rice with some green veggies.
